DESCRIPTION

Join the Seashore Striders as we host an event in honor of Darby & owner Fredman. It is being called the "Faith & Animal Spirit" event where you can show up and support Humane Animal Partners (HAP) and honor your loved one with a 5k walk or run. Whether your loved one is still with us or just a cherished memory, you can show your "Faith & Animal" Spirit by taking a piece of your loved one and carrying them in your heart by being a better person than you were yesterday. Join us for this special event!

Changed to VIRTUAL and can be done anywhere you desire.

Monday, October 13th, 2025 at 12 a.m. through Monday, October 20th, 2025 at ending at 12 noon.

RACE REGISTRATION

• Race Registration: $30/participant through Monday, October 20th ending at 12 noon.

WAYS TO REGISTER

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION: through RUNSIGNUP here at this site. The easiest & most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events.
2. MAIL-IN REGISTRATION: Form can be downloaded from SeashoreStriders.com on the Seashore Strider Darby Dash Event Site. Must be received by Tuesday, October 7th to be guaranteed the race swag.

RACE COURSE

3.1m: Flat & Fast at Cape Henlopen State Park...Course will start at the north side of the bathhouse parking lot and follow the bike trail through Ft Miles to the rear of the campground and turning around on the trail at the Dune Tower. Water at Ft Miles.

RACE TIMING

Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. will be timing the event using the Chronotrack B Chips.

RACE AMENITIES

Short sleeved shirts to all participants...post-race awards in the park...a running good time.

AWARDS

Overall & Master Male/Female Champion, as well as the top three finishers in 9 5K age groups: 9U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy: however, we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options: 1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year. 2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event. 3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event. Thank You for your cooperation & understanding as some situations are beyond the control of the Seashore Striders.
