Event Overview

The 2027 Rancho Sahuarita Lakeside Run features a scenic 5K run route that winds through the picturesque community of Rancho Sahuarita, alongside a 1 mile Fun Walk around Sahuarita Lake.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Diamond Children’s Medical Center, supporting their vital mission to provide critical pediatric care to children across Southern Arizona when they need it most.

Families are invited to enjoy entertainment in our Family Play Area before and during the race, and all participants can relax and celebrate in the post-race area following the event. Come celebrate community, family, and fun—all while supporting an incredible cause. We can’t wait to see you - Lakeside! 🏃‍♀️🏞️

Saturday, April 25

• 10:00am - 1:00pm: Packet pickup and in-person registration at The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell Avenue, Tucson) - special packet pickup sale on colorful and comfortable Balaga socks, buy one pair and receive the next at 50% off!

Sunday, April 26: Planned Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 am: Check in begins at Sahuarita Lake Park
• 7:30 am: Family One Mile Begins
• 7:45 am: 5k Run/Walk Begins
• Ongoing: Activities at Sahuarita Lake Park Amphitheater
• 9:00 am: Awards

Pricing Information

• 5K Registration Fee: $30, including a complimentary t-shirt, timed race, finish line video, souvenir race bib number, and post-race activities.
• 1 Mile Fun Walk Fee: $20 for participants aged 11 and older, including a complimentary t-shirt.
• Children 10 and under: Can register for the Fun Walk for $5 and receive a super hero cape.
