Race Overview

Celebrate The Original Southaven in the West End District. Take a step back-in-time. Journey to the 80s—together as part of our community’s huge leap forward with the Inaugural West End Retro Race 5K and Family Fun Run on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Starting at City Hall, race through Southaven’s civic corridor to Stateline Rd and wind through Carriage Hills, making your way back to Saucier Park for food, family activities, and live music.

• 5K & 1K: Whether you're tackling the 5K or bringing the family for the 1K, this event promises a full day of retro-themed fun for all ages.
• Dress Up: Dig out your neon headbands, dust off your classic Walkman and Members Only Jackets, and join us for an unforgettable celebration that promises to become a cherished annual event.

Community Impact

Proceeds directly support targeted revitalization efforts with 100% of event proceeds dedicated exclusively in Original Southaven initiatives—funding West End community space enhancements, public space improvements and greenway connections in our city’s founding district.

Registration Information

• Early Bird Entry Fee: Register now and save Early Bird entry fees in effect until Monday, August 31st @ 11:59 PM. Be sure to pass this on to your friends.
• Team Discount: Create a team and when the 5th person joins, all team members will get $5 credited back to their credit card.
• Run for Free: You will be assigned a referral code when you register. For every 5 friends that sign up using your assigned referral code, you will get $20 refunded to the credit card that you registered with, up to the amount of the registration fee that you were charged when you registered.
