Event Overview

Bryn Mawr Running Company presents the 17th Annual Midsummer 5k Race Series.

Race Details

• Date: 2026-06-11
• Location: South Ardmore Park, Wynnewood, PA
• Course: 3 circuits on a slightly rolling course called the “Ardmore Loop.”
• Awards: Provided for overall runners and age group winners by Bryn Mawr Running/Racing Company and Brooks.

Scoring and Points

• Multi-Race Points: Scoring for those who complete all three races.
• Categories: Points accumulated in overall male/female categories and age group categories.
• Combined Races: Awards for the 3 combined races will be provided by one of our sponsors.
• Chip Timing: The event will be chip timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.

Registration Information

• Discount: Registration is discounted when you choose all 3 events.
• T-Shirts: Brooks Podium Technical Midsummer Series T-shirts will be distributed at the JULY race or during race packet pickup the night before.
• After Party: An after party will take place at McSorley’s Ardmore, 2330 Haverford Rd, Ardmore, PA 19003.
• Complimentary Beverage: Bring in your race bib for one complimentary beverage.

Family Participation

• Family-Friendly: Please bring the whole family!
• Kids Race: A very popular kids race will precede the 5K.

Beneficiary Information

• Proceeds: Race proceeds will benefit Children’s and Shriner's Hospitals of Philadelphia.
• Additional Beneficiaries: Lower Merion Parks and Recreation and the Bryn Mawr Running Club.
• Charity Efforts: Since 2010, we have raised over $65,000 for these charities!

Weather Policy

• Weather Awareness: Summer evening races may experience pop-up thunderstorms.
• Event Status: We will run rain or shine, but if lightning occurs, we will hold off until it clears.
• Refund Policy: There are NO REFUNDS: however, you can purchase race insurance when registering.

Packet Pickup

• Timing: Packet Pickup will open at 6 pm on site at each race.
