About this race
Race Overview
Beginning as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway bridge, Bridge Fest remains a well-loved community event for the Lake Houston area. Net proceeds directly benefit the local community through the support initiatives of both the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area.
The iconic BridgeFest event has supported Lake Houston area community for 35 years. With the goal of strengthening our community, the event brings hundreds of community members together for entertainment and run/walks designed for all ages. This year, the Lake Houston YMCA and The Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area have joined together to make it a fun and impactful event!

Events and Features
- Family Festival: A fun family-oriented festival with various activities.
- 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk: Chip-timed events for all ages, adaptive-friendly.
- Custom Items: Each participant receives a custom Bib, Finisher Medal, and BridgeFest Race Shirt!
- RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
- 8:00am 1-mile Fun Run Start
- 8:30am 5K Start
- 9:15am Awards
- 12:00pm BridgeFest Closes
Race Day Information
- Packet Pickup: Available from 10am-8pm Wednesday-Friday, March 25th-27th at the Lake Houston Family YMCA, 2420 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX 77339.
- Parking: Located at Creekwood Middle School (3603 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood, TX 77339) with continuous shuttle service throughout the morning.
- Travel Time: Please allocate appropriate time to get to the YMCA prior to the start of your race event.
Award Details
- 5K Awards: Male and Female Overall, Male and Female Masters (40+), Male and Female Grand Masters (60+).
- Top Finishers: Top 3 Male and Female in categories: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
- 1-Mile Awards: Male and Female Overall, Male and Female 10 and Under.
