15th Annual St Peter Turkey Trot 5K/10K

Event Overview

The holidays are coming once again! We invite you to join St Peter Lutheran School and Dig Deep Race Events for the 15th Annual running of the St Peter Turkey Trot on a flat, country road course in Hemlock to prepare you for the feasting that is to come!

  • 9:00 am - 10k Run Start
  • 9:10 am - 5k Run/Walk Start

Race Details

• Distances: 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk
• Note: There will be no competitive walk category. Participants are free to run or walk as they'd like.
• Turkey Trot Features: Caramel apples for the kids from Jacques Orchard, custom finisher medals, and free online finisher photos.
• Awards: Overall 5k and 10k male and female winners receive turkeys: youth overall winners receive apple pies.

Pricing

• 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk with Shirt: $36
• 10K Run & 5K Run/Walk no Shirt: $30
• 10K/5K Senior (60+): $30 with Shirt, $25 no Shirt
• 10K/5K Youth (13 & Under): $25 with Shirt

Course Information

This year both the 5K and 10K events will once again begin and end on St Peter Lutheran’s recently installed track! This is an out and back run on FLAT roads that are mostly paved. Those running the 10k will get some hard-packed gravel road for a stretch. Both the 5k and 10k routes begin on the track of St Peter Lutheran School (behind the church) and head north along Raucholz Rd. The 5k turns around between Frost and Dice Roads while the 10k turns right on Pangborn before heading back.

Packet Pickup and Registration

• Location: St Peter Lutheran School and Church
• Date: Saturday, November 7 from 7:00-8:45 AM
• Note: Online registration closes Friday, November 6 at Noon. Late registrations will incur an additional $5 processing fee.
• Shirts: Guaranteed shirt sizes end on Sunday, October 25th!

Awards

• 1st Place Overall: Male and Female participants in both events receive a turkey, a plaque, and free entry to next year’s race.
• 2nd/3rd Place Overall: Receive discounts on registration for next year.
• Top Overall Youth: Awards for both 5K and 10K events will include apple pies.
• Results: Posted within 48 hours of race completion at itsyourrace.com.

Refund and Transfer Policy

Refunds will not be provided unless the event is canceled for reasons within our control. Registrants may transfer registrations to a similar Dig Deep-owned event up to and including the same event the following season, subject to proof of injury.

• Can I run/walk with a stroller? Yes, baby joggers are allowed on both courses, but please remain to the rear of the pack.
• What does “USATF Sanctioning” mean? It means that organizers have followed a safety process and your race results will be official for scoring purposes.
• What happens if the event is cancelled? Refunds depend on the nature of the cancellation. See the Refund and Transfer Policy above.
