RELIANCE Deep Woods Gravel Grinder

Event Information

The RELIANCE Deep Woods Gravel Grinder is a full weekend of grassroots gravel grinding in the Cherokee National Forest east of Chattanooga, TN, April 23-25!

The Races

• Race Routes: RELIANCE offers two race routes on Saturday (70 miles/8100 ft of climbing and 46 miles/5600 ft of climbing)
• Sunday Route: One race route on Sunday (28 miles/3700 ft of climbing)
• Podiums: All three race routes will have separate podiums for all categories.

The Rides

• Shakeout Ride: A relaxed 13-mile shakeout ride on Friday
• Challenging Recreational Routes: Routes of 24 miles on Saturday and 26 miles on Sunday
• Timed Routes: All routes will be timed
• Finisher Medal: All two-day finishers will receive a finisher medal!

Saturday Routes

• 25 miles: 2900 feet of climbing, 70% gravel
• 46 miles: 5600 feet of climbing, 50% gravel (race route)
• 70 miles: 8100 feet of climbing, 60% gravel (race route)

Sunday Routes

• 26 miles: 2900 feet of climbing, 60% gravel
• 28 miles: 3700 feet of climbing, 70% gravel (race route)

Prizes & Awards

All routes will be timed, and prizes will be presented to the top 3 in each race category both Saturday and Sunday.

Post-Race Festivities

All riders will have access to well stocked aid stations on the routes and will enjoy post-ride food, beer, live music and festivities both Saturday and Sunday after the rides! Free swag like water bottles, pint glasses, bandanas and koozies are included in the price, and we'll also have plenty of Tennessee Gravel merch available both days!

Camping
