Kenosha Mayor's Turkey Day Run 10K & 2 Mile Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Kenosha Mayor's Day Run/Walk was first held in 1906 and continued until 1950. It was resurrected by the Kenosha Running Club in 1978 and has been running strong continuously since then.

Race Details

• Location: 5500 1st Avenue, Kenosha, WI
• Date: 2026-11-26
• Course: The two runs take place on both city streets and the bike path along the lakefront between the museums and Carthage College.
• Mile Markers: Each mile has a designated mile marker with water stops near miles 2 & 4.

Course Closure

The 10K course will close 80 minutes after race start.

Participation Guidelines

• Allowed: Free Kids Race (50-yard dash) for 8 years & under with paid registration.
• Restrictions: No bicycles, roller skates, inline skates, skateboards, etc.
• Registration Benefits: Registration includes t-shirt for first 1,500 paid entrants and light refreshments after the run.
• Mail Registrations: Kenosha Running Club, PO Box 723, Kenosha, WI 53141 (Checks payable to Kenosha Running Club) Postmarked by November 16, 2026.

Registration Fees

• Until November 22, 2026: 14 & Under: $20, 15 & Over: $25
• During Packet Pickup (November 25, 2026): 14 & Under: $25, 15 & Over: $30
• Packet Pickup Timing: November 25th - 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kenosha Public Museum.
• Race Day Registrations: No Race Day Registrations.
