Carrera de las Catrinas

Event Overview

Join us for La Carrera de las Catrinas 5K on November 1, 2026—a celebration of culture, community, and education! Inspired by Día de los Muertos, this family-friendly run/walk brings our community together while honoring culture. Proceeds will support scholarships for graduating seniors of Round Lake Senior High School. Come dressed in your favorite Catrina or Catrín-inspired look, bring your family and friends, and join us for a morning filled with community and celebration.

Registration Pricing

• $43.00: Age 18 and over
• $23.00: Age 17 and under
• Deadline: Register by October 15 to guarantee event T-shirt size.
• Availability: After October 15, sizes available while supplies last.

Race Day Information

• Race Day Registration Opens: 7:30 AM
• Pre-Race Day Packet Pick Up: Friday, October 30 from 5 PM-8 PM at 121 E. Main Street, Round Lake Park, IL.
• Race Day Packet Pick Up: Begins 1 hour prior to race time.
• Location: 329 Greenwood Dr, Round Lake Park, IL.

Age Group Awards

Awards will be given for the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
