Event Overview

Celebrate the season and our community at the Annual Shrewsbury Fall Fest & Run.

Hosted by Shrewsbury Church, this event welcomes runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages for a memorable morning of fitness, fellowship, and fun.

5K & 10K Run/Walk

• Choose your challenge: Select either our 5K or 10K course through the peaceful rural roads of Kennedyville.
• Scenic views: Both routes showcase the vibrant colors of fall, scenic farmland, and the charm of Maryland's Eastern Shore.
• All abilities: These events offer something for participants of all abilities, mobility accessible and welcoming to adaptive athletes.
• Goals: Whether you're striving for a personal best, training for your next race, or simply enjoying an active morning outdoors.

Fun Walk

• Relaxed participation: Looking for a more relaxed way to participate? Join our Fun Walk at your own pace.
• Gather: Collect friends, family, and neighbors for a leisurely walk filled with fellowship and fresh air.
• Celebrate community: Enjoy the beauty of the season together in a supportive environment.
• All welcome: Open to everyone who wants to partake in a fun, engaging experience.

Kids Fun Run

• Exciting experience: Following the main events, children can participate in a special Kids Fun Run on the church grounds.
• Short and fun: This short event gives young participants the chance to experience the thrill of crossing their own finish line.
• Inclusive: Encourages youth involvement in physical activity and community events.
• Memorable moments: An opportunity to create lasting memories for children and families.

Packet Pickup Information

• Advanced pickup: Friday, November 13, 2026, at Shrewsbury from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday | 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM, with race packets available before the event begins.
• Shirt size: Register early to secure your preferred shirt size.
• Availability: Event shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Post-Race Activities

• Community energy: Light refreshments and a warm sense of community await at the finish.
• Festival enjoyment: Post-race, stay to enjoy Kent County hospitality at the Shrewsbury Fall Festival.
• Culinary sampling: Sample Eastern Shore Cuisine, shop for holidays with Arts and Crafts vendors.
• Support a cause: Proceeds from this event support Shrewsbury's various ministries in support of Kent County residents.
