Event Overview

Get ready to lace up your running shoes- and your costumes!- for a hauntingly good time at the Green Lake Area Animal Shelters second annual 5K, a community event dedicated to making a measurable difference in the lives of all the animals in need at the shelter! This Day of the Dead themed run/walk invites participants of all ages and fitness levels (pups included!) to come together for a great cause! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a walk with your friends (and pup!), every step you take helps make a difference! So come on down and celebrate in the memory of all our lost paws!

Vendor Information

We are excited to welcome the following vendors to our event:

• The Fizzy Flamingo-Wisco
• KloesCraft Creations
• A Dog's Tale LLC.

Vendor list will be updated. Vendors will be available starting at 1 p.m., including the brat fry!

Race Schedule

• Lil' Goblins Kids 1 Mile Race: Begins at 2:15 p.m. Kids swag bag, which includes a hat and other goodies, will only be available to those registered by October 9th!
• The Great Pup'kin 5K: Begins at 3 p.m. Also with prizes for the top finishers. Swag bags, which include a t-shirt and a finisher medal, will only be available to those registered by October 9th!

Registration Information

Same day registration will be available, as well as shirts and hats for purchase.

Race Route

As it was last year, the bike trail will be our running route. Exciting news: This year the 1 mile and 5k will be timed!

All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter, ensuring that we can continue to enhance the lives of animals and people through adoption and education, and assisting all of the stray and surrendered pets in Green Lake County.
