About this race
Event Overview
Well my friends, we're BACK for year SEVEN!!
- Event Type: A grassroots cycling event that goes beyond the norm.
- Experience: A self-supported test of mental, physical, and spiritual fortitude.
- Community Spirit: A true small-town event hosted on a working farm.
- Founders: Run by the hardworking Ben & Kim Bangs.
Event Format
But here's the deal -- I'm a one-man show (and have always been). While I appreciate the same-day support I have received over the years from friends who stepped up, it takes an IMMENSE amount of work to organize this event solo.
- Previous Format: The 2-day weekend was a thing, and I am grateful to everyone's support!
- Original Format: Going back to a one-day one-course format of mixed terrain riding.
- Terrain: Combines gravel, class IV, single track, farm fields, sugarhouse roads, and minimal pavement.
- Support: Self-supported ride with feed zones offering goodies.
Post-Ride Celebration
When you return, we'll spoil you with incredible locally sourced post-ride food, homemade pressed wild apple cider, and a massive bonfire.
- Food: Incredible locally sourced post-ride food.
- Beverage: Homemade pressed wild apple cider.
- Tradition: Teddy bears and maple syrup for the first & last male/female across the line.
- Atmosphere: Share stories by a bonfire you can see from space.
