Wicked Fun Run and Fall Festival 2026

Race Information

Join us for our 9th Annual Wicked Fun Run and Fall Festival, provided to you by the Brown Elementary School PTO!

Schedule of Events

9am: 50-meter Monster Dash

• Participants: Open to all preschool and elementary school kids.
• Groups: Six groups of sprinters based on grade level.
• Cost: No registration fee, but a $5 donation to the PTO is appreciated.
• Incentive: All kids receive Halloween candy for participating.

9:15am: Warmup

Join us near the Starting Line for a group warmup hosted by Boston Body Pilates!

9:30am: The Wicked Fun Run

• Distance: 2-mile Fun Run.
• Participation: All ages encouraged to join: costumes highly encouraged!
• Timing: Professionally timed by Racewire with bib assignment.
• Awards: Medals for all students: trophies for fastest runners in each age group.

Fall Festival: 10am-12pm

Directly following the race, join us for a free Fall Festival! Activities will include:

• Fun Activities: Pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, and more!
• Entertainment: DJ dance party and balloon artist.
• Community: Local youth sports organizations will be present.
• Food: Bake sale available for refreshments.

Important Information

Online registration for the race closes SATURDAY 10/24 at 4pm. However, you can pay cash or Venmo Brown PTO on the day of the event if you wish to run.

Parking and Safety Notices

• Parking Closure: School parking will be closed by 9:10am.
• Plan Ahead: Arrive in advance of the closure.
• Traffic: The run is on an open road but expected traffic is limited.
• Safety: Runners and walkers should stay to the right side of the road or near the sidewalk.

BIB PICK UP

• 1. Friday 10/23: 3-4pm at Brown School Back Door/Barnesdale Entrance.
• 2. Saturday 10/24: 9:30am-10:30am at Brown School Front Door.
• 3. RACE DAY (Sunday 10/25) at 7:30am-9:30am at Registration Table (Front of Brown School).
