About this race
Event Overview
The Glenn Bass Run has been celebrated for over a decade, and is in honor of Sonora's long-time cross country and track coach, Glenn Bass. This 5k and 1 mile race are on Sonora High School's Wildcat Ranch in East Sonora, running along the same course that's used by the high school cross country leagues.
Race Details
- Date: 2026-10-17
- Location: 14685 Tuolumne Rd, Sonora, CA
- Course: Rolling hills surrounded by oaks and open grassland
- Format: Figure-eight course with the final loop for 1 mile runners
Awards and Fees
- Awards: Custom awards will be given to the top 3 in each age group in each race
- Registration Fee: $25 + online fee for 5k: $15 + online fee for 1 mile
- Shirts: T-Shirt included with sign-ups before 10/02/2026!
- Proceeds: All proceeds will go to the Sonora High cross country team
