Whitefish Turkey Trot

Join us for the 17th Annual Whitefish Turkey Trot!

START TIME:

• Runners: Starting at 8:30 am.
• Walkers: Starting at 9:30 am.
• Waves: Two waves this year due to expected participants.

COURSE:

• Location: Downtown Whitefish!
• Distance: 3.1 miles.
• Start/End Point: Outside of O'Shaughnessy Center.

DONATIONS:

• Encouragement: Bring food donations to the food bank if able!
• Recipient: North Valley Food Bank.
• Needed Items: Turkeys, hams, potatoes, canned goods, and more.

FAQs

Should I do the Run or the Walk?

• 5K Run: For participants finishing within 45 minutes.
• 5K Walk: For those taking longer than 45 minutes.

Are dogs allowed?

• General Rule: Dogs are not allowed this year.
• Service Animals: Allowed on a non-retractable leash: line up at the back of the corral.

Can I run with a stroller?

• Stroller Policy: Strollers are welcome but should line up at the back of the start corral.

What if it snows?

• Weather Conditions: Snow and ice may be present: safety measures will be taken.
• Recommendation: Bring Yaktrax or ice spikes for your shoes.

Where can I park?

• Parking: Free in downtown Whitefish: garage located at 402 E Second St.
• Carpooling: Recommended due to anticipated participants.

Are there awards?

• No Cash Prizes: This is primarily a fundraising event.
• Top Finishers: Top three men and women receive a sweet treat.
• Community Spirit: Everyone wins an opportunity to have fun and raise money!

Are there aid stations on the course?

• No Aid Stations: There will be none along this route.
• Refreshments: Water and light refreshments available at start/finish.
