Registration Information

BikeReg Registration Opens 9/18/26, 9pm … Closes-10/02/26, 7am

Location: Scotts Flat Lake CG, 23333 Scotts Flat Rd., Nevada City, CA (25 min. drive from Nevada City)

(Additional $10 - Race Day Walk-Up Registration or Race Plate Replacement)

Race Day Details

• USA Cycling rules: USA Cycling rulebook and Safe Sport Program applies to California Dirt MTB Series.
• Pre-Race Arrival: On race day, arrive 10-15 min. before your Wave/Cat # for pre-race announcements.
• Check-In: 10/02/26 Fri. 3pm-5pm Check-In/Pre-Ride.
• Race Schedule: 10/03/26 Sat. STXC 2pm Check-In/Pre-Ride is ~0.62 mile / 85' elev./lap.

Race Schedule

• STXC Event: 4pm STXC Starts, 20 minutes (No Pre-riding when STXC starts at 4pm).
• Sunset: 6:43pm.
• XC Event: 10/04/26 Sun. XC is ~3.1 mile / 425' elev./lap.
• Wave Schedule: 8am Wave 1 for Cat 3, 2 laps: 9am Wave 2 for Cat 2/Clydesdales, 4 laps: 11am Wave 3 for PRO/Cat 1/Single Speed, 5 laps.

Awards and Results

• Finish Notifications: If you cannot finish your race, inform the USA Cycling official in the timing booth.
• Results Review: Contest results period is 10 minutes: for issues, speak to the USA Cycling official, George, or Jet (not the timer).
• Podium Time: After USA Cycling official approves results for each wave, it's podium time with MC- The Beard, George Dunkum!
• Race Results: Race results will be uploaded to USA Cycling results and BikeReg results the following week.

Important Notes

• Registration Requirements: BikeReg registration, USAC 1-day or annual license, and waiver required.
• Jersey Series Winners: Requires completing 3 races and annual USAC license holder.
• Reserve Camping: Reserve your campsite. If you want to be close to the course, inform reservation personnel you are mountain bike racing.
• Parking Fees: $10 Event Parking per Day per Vehicle at BikeReg for Saturday and Sunday.

Race Recommendations

• What to Bring: Water, Bike, Helmet, Gloves, Eyewear, Camping Chair, Hat, Bug Spray, Cowbell, etc.
• Race Day Registration: Race day registration is CASH ONLY. Additional $10 for On-Site Race Day registration.
• Sunday Lunch: Lunch starts at 11am, taqueria style taco bar by Armando Rodriguez IG @elborlotemexicanfood!

Refund Policy

Refund may apply toward another 2026 or 2027 race registration, or donation for YBONC Programs. Forward us the racer's BikeReg confirmation email (no IM or calls) and we will reply with a registration coupon code to apply. Email us at [email protected].
