About this race
Maysville 2 Bridge Run - 10-Miler and 5k
Come run with us in beautiful, historic Maysville, Kentucky for one of the area's favorite spring running traditions!
The 2027 Maysville Bridge Run offers both a 10-Mile Race and a 5k, bringing runners and walkers together for a scenic tour of our river town and the surrounding community.
For years, the signature 10 mile course has been known for something pretty special: 2 bridges, 2 states, and 10 miles, crossing both the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge and the William H. Harsha Bridge over the Ohio River.
In 2027 we're crossing out the "2"... but not the tradition.
The historic Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge is currently undergoing a major restoration, which means our traditional two-bridge route won't be possible this year. Instead of skipping a year, we are embracing it.
The 2027 Maysville Bridge Run will feature a special-edition course that keeps the spirit of the race alive while showcasing Maysville from a new perspective. The 10-mile race will still take runners across the Ohio River via the William H. Harsha Bridge, while both races will offer plenty of scenery, community support, and that unmistakable race-day energy.
For the first time in race history, 5k runners will be able to run across the William H. Harsha bridge. 5k participants will be transported by bus to their starting line (William H. Harsha Bridge) immediately following the start of the 10-mile race. Additional race-day transportation details and timing will be shared with participants as the event approaches.
Whether you're chasing a PR, tackling your first 5K or 10-Miler, using the race as a spring training goal, or simply looking for a memorable morning with friends, there's a place for you at the starting line.
Hosted by the Maysville Rotary Club, proceeds from the event help support Rotary's service projects and investments in our local community.
Two races. One river town. One bridge THIS YEAR. And a tradition worth running for.
We'll see you at the starting line!
