Race Overview

It's a THANKSGIVING DAY TRADITION!! New Smyrna Beach Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K Run/Walk presented by the Flagler Avenue Business Association is open for 2025 registration.

When & Where

• When: Thursday, November 27th, 2024 at 9:00am.
• Where: Flagler Ave Boardwalk – Beach.
• Address: 101 Buenos Aires St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.

Schedule of Events

• Wednesday: 4-6pm Packet Pickup optional, at Flagler Ave Beach Approach.
• Thursday: 7 am Packet Pickup Open at tent.
• Start Time: 9:00 am 5K Run/Walk begins.

Course Details

• Type: This is a BEACH run/walk in the sand.
• Start & Finish: The race will Start and Finish on the beach: in front of the Flagler Ave Boardwalk in New Smyrna Beach.

Entry Fees

• Until Nov 26th: $30.00 Online Registration Only.
• At Race Start: $35.00 Cash or scan the on-site QR code to register Online (NO Venmo or Paypal options).
• Note: Registration is non-refundable.

Amenities

• Shirt: Race Specific Shirt (sizes not guaranteed for registrations after 11/11).
• Medal: Finisher Medal.
• Timing: Chip-Timed 5K.
• Celebration: After Race Celebration at Flagler Tavern with "Flagler Tavern Bucks."

Race Timing/Scoring

The race will be professionally timed and scored. Disposable, electronic chips will be attached to the bib number. In order to get the best read possible, you need to wear your bib number unaltered on the front of your shirt pinned at all four corners. Do not have any clothing covering your bib number.

• Race Location: This is a Beach Run/Walk in the sand.
• Packet Pickup: Wednesday 4-6pm or Thursday 8 am.
• Finisher Medal: YES, there is a finisher medal for this race.
• T-shirt Eligibility: Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Additional Information

• Pets: No pets allowed on this beach run/walk.
• Water: Yes, please plan to carry your own water or hydration.
• Cost: Early registration is $30 per person.
• Weather Policy: The race is a "rain or shine" event.

Parking Information

The boardwalk parking at Flagler Ave Boardwalk has times and fees posted. If you park in the Flagler Ave Boardwalk parking lot at race start, you will need to pay a daily fee or get a pass. However, there is free parking along Flagler Ave. There are a few free parking lots off of Flagler Ave as well. Obey all parking signs for locations for free and day-fee parking rules.
