🦃 Thanksgiving Day Tradition

It's a THANKSGIVING DAY TRADITION!! New Smyrna Beach Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K Run/Walk presented by the Flagler Avenue Business Association is open for 2025 registration.

📅 Event Details

• When: Thursday, November 27th, 2024 at 9:00am.
• Where: Flagler Ave Boardwalk – Beach, 101 Buenos Aires St, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169

⏰ Schedule of Events

• Wednesday: 4-6pm Packet Pickup optional, at Flagler Ave Beach Approach.
• Thursday: 7 am Packet Pickup Open at tent.
• 9:00 am: 5K Run/Walk begins.

🏖️ Course Information

This is a BEACH run/walk in the sand. The race will Start and Finish on the beach: in front of the Flagler Ave Boardwalk in New Smyrna Beach.

💰 Entry Fees

• Online Registration: Present- Nov 26th by 1pm – $30.00 Online Registration Only.
• At Race Start: $35.00 Cash or scan the on-site QR code to register Online (NO Venmo or Paypal options).
• Registration: Online Registration will close Wednesday, November 26th at 1pm for a few hours and then reopens.
• Note: Registration is non-refundable.

🎽 Amenities

• Race Shirt: Race Specific Shirt (sizes not guaranteed for registrations after 11/11).
• Finisher Medal: All participants receive a medal.
• Chip-Timed: 5K will be digitally timed.
• Water Stations: Water Stop on route: Water Refill Station at Start/Finish Line.
• Photos: Free, Professional Race Photos – Available for free download after the event.

🥇 Awards

Top Overall Male/Female, Top Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 Age Group Male/Female will be recognized and receive additional "Flagler Tavern Bucks" during the After Race Celebration at Flagler Tavern.

• Timing: The race will be professionally timed with disposable electronic chips.
• Registration: Will mention of packet pickup and t-shirt availability for participants.
• Pets: Not allowed for safety reasons.
• Cost: Early registration is $30 per person. In-person registration on Race Day is $35.
• Weather: The race is a "rain or shine" event.

📍 Location & Parking

The boardwalk parking at Flagler Ave Boardwalk has times and fees posted. Free parking is available along Flagler Ave and in nearby lots. Obey all parking signs for locations for free and day-fee parking rules.
