Unfortunately, ThunderCross CX scheduled for October 11 has been canceled due to lower-than-needed registration numbers.

Putting on a quality CX race requires significant upfront commitments for permitting, insurance, officials, timing, and course support. With fewer than 60 racers registered six days out, we can’t responsibly make those commitments while hoping registrations arrive at the last minute.

All registered racers will receive a full refund. No action is required.

We’re incredibly disappointed and sincerely appreciate everyone who registered early and supported the event.

USA CYCLING LICENSES

• THUNDERCROSS CX is a USA Cycling-sanctioned event.
• Racers must have a valid USA Cycling license or purchase an eligible one-day license.
• One-day licenses will be available for racers who need one.

85 RACERS. LET’S DO THIS.

Putting on a CX race takes permits, insurance, officials and a whole bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff.

• We need 85 paid registrations by Monday, October 5 to make THUNDERCROSS happen. If we don’t hit 85, we’ll have to cancel and everyone registered will receive a full refund.

• Planning to race? Register early. It helps make sure we all get to race.

• 85 is the magic number. Let’s get there.

RACING MORE THAN ONCE?

We like your style.

• Add additional race categories for just $10 each when you register.

• Simply select every event you want to race during registration and BikeReg will automatically apply the discount.

More racing. More heckling. More opportunities to tell everyone that this was definitely your “B race.”

BRINGING A PIT BIKE?

Fancy.

• An additional bib plate for your pit bike is $5. Just select the pit-bike option when you register.

Because nothing says cyclocross like bringing another bicycle specifically for when the first bicycle becomes too muddy.

RACER CHECK-IN

• Racer check-in opens at 8:00 AM.

• Check-in for each race closes 30 minutes before that race starts, so give yourself time to get checked in, pin your number, inspect the course, warm up, and contemplate your tire-pressure decisions.

NO WALK-UPS. YES. REALLY.

Registration stays open until 6:00 PM the day before the race, so you’ve got plenty of time to make the excellent decision to race THUNDERCROSS.

• All race additions and category changes must also be completed through BikeReg before registration closes.

• “But what if I’m not 100% sure I can make it?”

• We hear you, cupcake.

• That’s why we’ve got a no-risk registration policy.

• So register. Put it on the calendar. Start practicing your remounts.
