Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship 5K

Event Overview

Officer Reeves was killed in the line of duty on July 8th 2012, leaving behind his wife, son, family, and many friends. Since 2014 the Millville Police Department has chosen to honor Chris (Superman) in a special way with a scholarship in his name. The funds raised from this event are awarded to graduating seniors from Millville Senior High School to continue their education. Awards

• Awards given: Top 3 Female & Male Overall and in Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 70+

Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Register by April 15 to be guaranteed a Commemorative T-Shirt
• Race Day Registration: Registration will open at 8:00 am and close at 8:45. Pre-registered Check-in will stay open until 8:55
• Weather Policy: This race is RAIN OR SHINE

Course Details

• Walkers: Walkers will finish in the cemetery at Chris's gravesite and will be shuttled back to the start line (at Rieck Ave).
• Walk Distance: Please note that the walk will be approx. 1.5 miles due to the change in venue
