Owego Strawberry Festival - Rock & Run 5K 2024

🍓 Welcome to the Owego Strawberry Festival Rock & Run 5K!

Celebrate the 42nd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

📅 Date and Location

• Date: June 13, 2024
• Time: 6:00 PM - 5K Race starts
• Location: 359 Hickories Park Rd, Owego, NY

🏃 Race Schedule

• 4:30 PM: Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration at bandstand area.
• 5:15 PM: Kid's Fun Run - Ages 12 and under must register with a parent.
• 6:00 PM: Start of the 5K Race. All participants receive a cool 2024 Strawberry Festival Medal!
• Additional Note: All 5K participants signing up will receive a medal!

🚦 Safety and Parking

• Drive Slowly: Please remember to drive slowly when coming into Hickories Park.
• Parking: Expect many people parking and gathering around the bandstand area.
• Kid Safety: Kids may be running their Fun Run, so be cautious.
• Volunteers: There will be orange cones and volunteers to assist with safety.

👕 Tee Shirts and Merchandise

• Discounts: Tee shirts available at a discount for runners/walkers who register on Run Sign Up!
• On-Site Sales: Tee shirts will also be available for purchase at event pricing.
• Music and Festivities: Start at 5:00 PM before the race.
• Post-Race Celebration: Live music, vendors, and food trucks until 9:00 PM!

🍦 Food and Fun

• Ice Cream: Ice Cream Works will bring their ice cream truck!
• Delicious Food: The Food Truck will be serving various tasty options!
• Popcorn Treats: Pitstop Popcorn will be there for great popcorn snacks!
• Strawberry Festival Events: More festivities will take place in the Village of Owego near the Courthouse following the race.
