Event Overview

The JFS/MCTS Alumni Association is a 501c3 organization. The Association promotes a meaningful dialogue and exchange of ideas between the J. F. Shields High School and its Alumni.

Key Objectives

• Information Sharing: Providing information about the school to alumni.
• Support: Encouraging and supporting educational relationships with alumni.
• Activities: Sponsoring a variety of activities of interest to alumni.
• Opportunities: Providing alumni with opportunities for service at J. F. Shields.

Fundraising Purpose

Through this walk, we seek to raise funds for the JFS/MCTS Alumni Association to be able to provide scholarships to graduating Seniors of J.F. Shields High School.

Community Engagement

• Collaboration: We seek to bring together individuals and businesses to benefit the school and community as a whole.
• Alumni Reunion: This walk will bring back alumni to our town of Beatrice, AL.
• Community Appreciation: Give us a chance to once again walk through our beautiful town that we call home.
• Proceeds Usage: All of the proceeds from this 5K will go towards supporting the scholarship program.
