The tradition continues! Celebrate Thanksgiving Day with family and friends while getting a workout.

Event Details

• Date: Nov. 27, 2025
• Time: 8-8:15 a.m., (waves based on pace)
• Location: Start and Finish at Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. Note: some mapping applications may route users to a different location. Please be sure to check the address and name of location to ensure you arrive to the correct event location.
• Standard 5K Cost: $34* (plus registration fee). *Register early, price increases on November 13. Event-day registration is available for an additional fee if space remains.

Race Features

• Family-friendly: The Turkey Day 5K is a laid-back trot that starts and finishes at the Parker Recreation Center.
• Incentives: Registrants receive a pair of commemorative knit gloves (past race socks, scarf, and beanie for purchase as add-ons), souvenir race bib, and hot cocoa, cider, or coffee.
• Non-timed: This event is not officially timed.
• Stroller-friendly: Strollers are welcome but because of the size of the event and for safety reasons, please leave dogs, bikes, and scooters at home.

Additional Information

• Weather Policy: This event is held rain, snow, or shine: Refunds will NOT be issued.
• Beneficiary: Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities.
• Packet Pickup: TBD, on event day, pick up will begin at 7 a.m. at the Parker Recreation Center.
