The tradition continues! Celebrate Thanksgiving Day with family and friends while getting a workout.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Nov. 27, 2025
• Time: 8-8:15 a.m., (waves based on pace)
• Location: Start and Finish at Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. Note: some mapping applications may route users to a different location. Please be sure to check the address and name of location to ensure you arrive to the correct event location.
• Standard 5K Cost: $34* (plus registration fee)
  *Register early, price increases on November 13. Event-day registration is available for an additional fee if space remains.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Family-Friendly: Part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, the Turkey Day 5K is a laid-back trot that starts and finishes at the Parker Recreation Center.
• Participant Perks: Registrants receive a commemorative knit beanie, souvenir race bib and hot cocoa, cider or coffee.
• Logistics: This event is not officially timed. Strollers are welcome but for safety reasons, please leave dogs, bikes and scooters at home.
• Weather Policy: This event is held rain, snow or shine: Refunds will NOT be issued.

🎟️ Scholarship Program

Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup: TBD, on event day, pick up will begin at 7 a.m. at the Parker Recreation Center.
