Event Overview
Come join the horses at our annual Peace Ranch Wilderness 5K/10K run/walk on September 19, 2026. The 5K is like none other as it winds through hard packed sand roads through the beautiful Pere Marquette Forest. Our 10K has become a favorite of trail runners statewide and is known for its challenging topography and peaceful surroundings. Both runs are supported by the Traverse City Track Club. Our family friendly space is perfect for hanging out during and after the race. Medal ceremony following the race.
Dog Friendly
The Peace Ranch Wilderness 5K/10K run/walk is DOG FRIENDLY!
Just a couple requests: Please keep your dog in the car with you until just prior to race start time and then on a leash while with you.
Participant Perks
- Registration Benefits: All registered participants will receive a t-shirt, timed results, swag bag of goodies and refreshments after the race.
- Awards: Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners. Their names will also be added to the Annual Race Plaque at Peace Ranch.
- Finisher Medal: All registered participants will receive the Peace Race Lucky Horseshoe Medal.
- After-Race Tours: Tours will be available afterward.
Charity Support
All proceeds benefit New Veterans Retreat Services and the Mustang Rehab Program.
