Race Overview
- Unique Experience: We're possibly the only run in the world that starts at a Quilt Show & ends at a Rummage Sale.
- Events Offered: Alden Run events include a 5K, 10K, & 2 Mile Fun Walk.
- Course Details: Both our 5K & 10K courses are USA Track & Field sanctioned with varied terrain including pavement, dirt roads, and two tracks through the woods.
- Accessibility: Our 2-mile Fun Walk is on all paved roads making it stroller, pet, & kid friendly.
Beneficiary Information
- Local Support: Proceeds from The Alden Run are shared with Bellaire, Mancelona, & Central Lake Schools.
- Funding Areas: Money goes to both the athletic departments & the art departments.
- Community Contribution: Funds are donated to the Downtown Alden Business Association & other local non-profit organizations.
