About this race
Course Description: 1 mile race for runners - as well as walkers - that starts 10 minutes before the Hermitage Light Up Parade. This Holiday Mile will be run on the parade route where 8,000 to 10,000 spectators line the entire distance. Come prepared to run your PR in the mile! The start will be on Kerrwood Drive near Kraynaks, proceed down East State Street hill towards the Shenango Valley Mall, finishing on Rt. 18 just beyond Hickory United Methodist Church.
Awards will be given to the top 3 Open Male and Female finishers, the top Male/Female masters, and the top finishers in the following age categories: Men and Women 10 and under/11-14/15-19/20-29/30-39/40-49/50-59/60-69/70 and up.
Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the race in the Hickory United Methodist Church Parking Lot. There will also be awards for the top three costumes!
