The Grove City Area Federal Credit Union Grateful Gallop 5K

General Info:

The 10th Annual Grateful Gallop presented by GCAFCU will take place on Thanksgiving morning at 9:00 AM in Grove City, PA.

• Location: Starts on Greenwood Drive and travels along the Hunter Farm bike path.
• Beneficiary: Supports the Grove City Community Food Pantry.
• Donation Box: There will be a donation box to collect non-perishable food and toiletries.

Packet Pick Up:

Pre-race packet pickup will be at the Grove City Area Federal Credit Union (1600 S. Center St. Ext.):

• Monday, November 24: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, November 25: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday, November 26: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Awards:

There will be an awards ceremony at 10:00 AM on race day.

• Overall Awards: Top 5 Overall Male and Female finishers.
• Age Categories: Top 3 in the following age categories: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

Course:

Flat and fast. There will be a water station near the halfway point.

• Men's Course Record: Jed Christiansen 15:04.35 (2023).
• Women's Course Record: Eden Slater 18:20.55 (2023).

Timing:

This race is being chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management utilizing world-leading MyLaps hardware.

Parking:

Parking will be available at the Grove City College Colonial Hall lot where the old Middle School used to be.
