Exhibition Place Resolution Run

TORONTO'S NEW YEAR'S DAY RACE

January 1, 2027 | 5K | Exhibition Place | Toronto

We All Start Here

New Year’s Eve has its traditions. We think New Year’s Day deserves a few too.

On January 1, the Exhibition Place Resolution Run returns for its second year.

A 5K road race. A memorable finish beneath the Princes’ Gates. And a morning that brings Toronto runners, friends and families together at Exhibition Place.

Some come to race. Some to run with friends. And some just because January 1 feels like a good day to get out and do something together.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running with your club or simply enjoying the morning, there’s a place for you here.

THE RACE. AND EVERYTHING AROUND IT.

It’s January 1. It’s Toronto. And yes, it’s winter.

But that doesn’t mean you have to spend the whole morning outside.

Park underground for free and stay indoors as you head into the warmth of the Enercare Centre. Find your friends, enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere.

And when it’s time to run? We keep you warm until just before the race begins.

Then the doors open, the Disco Ball is spinning, and you’re off.

Five kilometres through Exhibition Place’s expansive grounds, followed by a finish worth celebrating.

And when you’re done? Head back inside. Warm up with a coffee or hot chocolate, on us. Celebrate your finish. Catch up with friends. Stay a little longer.

Because the Resolution Run isn’t just about the five kilometres. It’s about the whole morning.

5K THROUGH EXHIBITION PLACE.

A timed 5K road race through one of Toronto’s most recognizable destinations, with a memorable finish beneath the Princes’ Gates.

Whether you're racing the clock or enjoying every kilometre, it's a course worth showing up for.

This race is made possible through the extraordinary support of Exhibition Place. From the iconic Princes' Gates to the warmth and celebration inside Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place provides more than the setting for this event. It is a foundational partner in creating a growing New Year's Day tradition for Toronto.
