Santa Slay 5k

Fleet Feet Kingsport/Johnson City presents the "Santa Slay 5k" at Bays Mountain on December 12th, 2026 at 9am.  This friendly 5k trail run is meant to bring joy and laughs! Each participant will receive their own (to keep) Santa Suit complete with hat, beard, jacket, belt, and pants! A race shirt will also be part of your registration. The Santa suits are "one size fits most", and once you register you can drop by the store and pick up your suit anytime before the race to "tailor" it to your needs.   You can already imagine the pictures of over 100 of your Santa friends running through the trails at Bays Mountain. If you've always wanted to try trail running, this is the event for you. The route begins in the upper parking lot; goes out the gravel rd; turns right onto Big Oak trail; crosses Azalea Trail and continues on Chestnut Trail to finish back in the upper parking lot.  This race will have a limit to registrants, so sign up early to guarantee your Santa Suit.
