Gorge après Gorge

The best little run in the Hilltowns. Cookie medals to all finishers, handmade hats as prizes, lots of families, just plain awesome.

Join us for the annual Gorge après Gorge 5k trail run and free family fun walk. All finishers receive a cookie medal. Timed race with unique top finisher awards (knitted hats!). And there's a raffle, with fun ways to earn extra tickets. A community potluck with baked goodies and hot drinks awaits you at the finish line. People are encouraged to bring their own mugs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: A well-marked course, the dirt fireroad is a slightly hilly and rocky out and back along the Wild and Scenic Westfield River, starting at the Chesterfield Gorge. Hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and potluck goodies ready and waiting at the finish line.

BENEFITS: The proceeds from registration will go to Hilltown Land Trust. Come celebrate the love of life and being together outdoors: seize the day!

FREE FAMILY FUN WALK: Please preregister to help us plan the family fun walk/run at 9:30 am. All are welcome. More hot drinks and potluck goodies for all.

NEW KID'S RACE: New this year, we're adding in some possibilities for the small but mighty ones who want to join in the fun!
