17th Annual WMass Mother's Day Half Marathon

Come spend Mother's Day 2027 in Whately!!

The Half Marathon kicks off at 8am on Sunday, May 9,2027!

The 9 Miler/Walkers kick off at 7:30am. The 9 Mile Run/Walk is NOT a race - there are no awards for this distance. It was intended to be a shorter distance that walkers could participate in.

Both will receive t-shirts and medals. Finish line festivities will include food and beer!

Packet pickup will take place at Marathon Sports in Northampton on Friday May 7 (4pm-6pm)and Saturday May 8 (10am - noon) - times are tentative and will be confirmed closer to race day.

No packets will be mailed.

EVERYONE who registers gets a Fundraising Page....if you are not planning or wanting to fundraise, don't customize it. If you change your mind, it's there for you to use. Please consider it - it's easy and it is tremendously helpful to the cause!

If you register AS A Fundraiser - you pay nothing up front, your minimum required fundraising goal is $300, however you can set the goal higher and make a bigger impact. If you do not hit the minimum, you will be charged the entry fee of $75, so PLEASE, hit the minimum.

BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR*****FUNDRAISING TIERS*****

• Raise $300 for free race registration.
• $500 earns a pair of Feetures socks
• $1000 earns a pair of GOODR Sunglasses
• $1500 earns a Run Western Mass top of some sort - TBD as race gets closer
• $2000 earns a customized apparel item with race logo - Will be determined as race gets closer.
• $2500 earns a pair of running sneakers. (price limit applies)
• $3000 earns -TBD (in the past we've done a Garmin watch or SHOKZ headphones-haven't finalized this year yet)

We are working with our friends at Marathon Sports to provide the Fundraising items. Items will be available at Bib Pick-up! We hope these incentives will motivate you to fundraise - it's easier than you may think it is!

The main purpose of this race is STILL to pay it forward and help Cancer Connection. This is one of the very few races that runs (literally!) on donation. Donation of time and many materials.

Please help us make this 17th year - the BEST ever! This MAY be the year we hit $1 Million!! Help us accomplish this!

So excited to see you on Mother's Day!
