Pitman Freedom Four Miler Run

🏃‍♂️ The 44th Annual Pitman Freedom Four Mile Road Race

🕒 WHEN

• Time: 8:45 AM - Friday, JULY 4, 2025 * Rain or Shine
• Details: An Independence Day run through one of South Jersey's most picturesque towns!

💻 REGISTRATION

• Price: Cost will be $30.00 for the live event.
• Virtual: Run event price is $12.50 with a shirt & $8.50 without a shirt.
• Pre-registered: Cost is $30.00 before 7 PM on July 2, 2025: $35.00 after.
• Race Day Price: Will be $40.

📍 WHERE

• Location: Start and Finish near Broadway Theatre, Broadway, Pitman NJ
• Packet Pickup: Race Day packet pickup will be at Borough Hall from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM.
• Pre-Race Pickup: Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Borough Hall, 110 South Broadway from 4 PM - 7 PM.
• Details: There will be no paper registration on race day: everyone must sign up online.

🏁 COURSE

• Route: A challenging, accurately measured 4-mile course through the town.
• Timing: Our race is accurately timed using chip timing with jbsportstiming.com.
• Virtual Completion: Complete by Friday, July 4, 2025, if you'd like to submit a finish time.
• Awards: There are no awards for virtual runners.

🏆 PRIZES

• Winners: $100 to the 1st Male & Female finisher.
• Age Groups: Prizes to the top 3 finishers in multiple age groups.
• Award Details: All age group awards will be mailed: only top overall winners get awards on race day.
• Overall Winners: Based on GUN TIME: Age Groups based on CHIP TIME.

🎽 T-SHIRTS

• Shirts: Each runner will receive a race performance shirt.
• Trophies: Top Pitman Male/Female will receive trophies.
• Race Directors: Andy Fox, Allison Kostiuk, Eric Stanwood.
• Tradition: In Pitman, NJ, the 4th of July celebrations also include a parade and fireworks.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURES INFORMATION

• Closure: Broadway will be closed from approximately 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM for the run and parade.
