An Independence Day run through one of South Jersey's most picturesque towns!

💰 REGISTRATION:

• Deadline: Online registration price will increase after 7pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
• Note: We will have no paper registration on race day: everyone must sign up online.
• Cost: $30.00 before 7pm on July 2, 2026: $35.00 after.
• Virtual Run: Event price is $12.50 with a shirt & $8.50 without a shirt.

📍 WHERE:

• Location: Start and Finish near Broadway Theatre, Broadway, Pitman NJ
• Packet Pickup: Race Day packet pickup will be at Borough Hall from 7:00am to 8:15am.
• Packet Pickup Info: Friday, July 3, 2026, at Borough Hall, 110 South Broadway from 4pm - 7pm.

🏁 COURSE:

• Distance: A challenging, accurately measured 4-mile course through the town.
• Timing: Our race is accurately timed using chip timing with jbsportstiming.com.

🏅 PRIZES:

• Top Finishers: $100 to the 1st Male & Female finisher.
• Age Groups: Prizes to the top 3 finishers in various age groups.
• Awards: All age group awards will be mailed to participants.
• Overall Winners: Based off GUN TIME: Age Groups based off CHIP TIME.

👕 T-SHIRTS:

Each runner will receive a race performance shirt.

🎉 In Pitman, NJ:

The 4th of July celebrations typically include a parade, a fireworks display at Alcyon Lake, and the Pitman Freedom Four Miler Run. The Freedom Four Miler Run begins at 8:45 AM. The parade starts at 9:55 AM on July 4th.

🚧 Road Closures Information:

Broadway will be closed from approximately 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM for the run and parade.
