🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the 15th annual Race the Helix-Greenwood race, inspired by one family's desire to raise awareness for genetic disorders and funding for genetic research! All proceeds benefit the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation.

📅 Event Details

• Date and Time: Saturday, September 20th, 2025 at 9:00 am - Greenwood Genetic Center
• Distance Options: 5K run or walk with Chip Timing (course can accommodate strollers and wheelchairs)
• Alternative Course: 1-mile course for walkers, runners, strollers, and wheelchairs
• Refreshments: Pre-packaged snacks and water will be provided

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Online Sales: T-shirt sales will close on September 5. There will be a very limited number of t-shirts available for sale on race day. First come, first served.
• Check-in: 8:00 am - 8:45 am on race morning

• Overall Awards: 1st Place overall male and female
• Age Group Awards: 1st Place male and female in each age group category
• 12 and under
• 13-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70+

📦 Packet and T-Shirt Pickup

• Race Day Pickup: Preordered Race the Helix t-shirts and 5K race bibs can be picked up at the race on Saturday morning beginning at 8:00 am.
• Early Pickup: Available at the Greenwood Genetic Center (106 Gregor Mendel Circle) on Friday, September 19 between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
