🐾 Race Overview

Red Coyote is kicking off 2026 with the Red Coyote Puppy Love 5K! Join the Pack for a 5K run or walk with and for your best four-legged friends.

The event will support the mission of 405 Animal Rescue and you might even have the chance to meet and adopt a new running buddy!

🐶 Dog-Friendly Details

• 100% Dog-Friendly: This race is 100% dog friendly for all well-socialized pups on a leash.
• Prepare for Potty Breaks: We do ask that any owners running with dogs be prepared with a "pick up" bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks (yours or theirs) on the course.
• Keep it Clean: Permit requires we leave it spotless so we need everyone to do their part!
• Run with or Without: You can run with a dog or without. The course loops in such a way as to have traffic moving in just one direction.

🏅 Awards and Prizes

We trust that everyone will be accommodating and have a good time. There will be regular awards for the top three men and women finishers and the winners of the USATF age divisions. We'll also have a prize for the first male and female finisher with a dog!

🎉 Costume Contest

For additional fun, participate in our costume contest! We'll have a special prize for the doggo / owner with the most amazing get up.

The race is scheduled for Sunday, February 22nd, 2 pm at Stars &: Stripes Park in OKC.

☀️ Meet & Greet

Weather permitting, we'll have pups from our partners at 405 Rescue to meet, greet, and adopt. We also encourage all of you to dress up your friends for a canine costume contest. We're ready to have some fun and share the love with your favorite furry Valentine. Don't miss out - sign up today!
