Rotary Club of Westerville Independence Day 5K

🇺🇸 Race Overview

Get your July 4th holiday moving with the Rotary Club of Westerville’s Independence Day 5K at 8 AM Friday, July 4.

📍 Location & Course

• Venue: Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave.
• Proceeds: Benefit local veterans and first responders organizations.
• Course: Travels on paved multipurpose trails through the Sports Complex property, under Cleveland Avenue, along the Westerville Community Center property, down to Heritage Park, and back to the finish/start line at the Sports Complex, adjacent to the new Veterans Memorial Plaza.
• Swag: Participants in the 5K receive an event T-shirt, race medal, and other goodies. Kids Fun Run participants receive a medal.

🗓️ Registration Information

The event is pre-registration only.

🎟️ Packet Pickup

• Dates: July 2 and July 3.
• Time: Noon-6 p.m.
• Location: Polaris Fleet Feet store, 1270 E. Powell Rd.
• Note: There will be NO Race-Day Registration.

🎉 Celebration Events

The race at the Sports Complex begins our day-long celebration of the Fourth, with our other dawn-to-dusk events, including:

• Honor Guard Presentation: 7:30 a.m.
• Kids Fun Run Sprints: 7:45 a.m.
• The Big State Street Parade: 10:30 a.m.
• Free Concert and Food Truck Festival: 5-10 p.m.
• Patriotic Fireworks Display: 10 p.m.
