Celebrate America's 250th Birthday and get your July 4th holiday moving with the Rotary Club of Westerville’s Independence Day 5K at 8 AM Saturday, July 4!

Event Details

• Date and Time: July 4, 2026, at 8 AM
• Location: Westerville Sports Complex, 325 N. Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH
• Proceeds: Benefit Children of Valor
• Registration: Pre-registration only, no race-day registration

Day of Events

• Honor Guard Presentation: 7:30 AM
• Kids Fun Run Sprints: 7:45 AM
• State Street Parade: 10:30 AM
• Free Concert and Food Truck Festival: 5-10 PM

Race Course

The race course travels on paved multipurpose trails through the Sports Complex property, under Cleveland Avenue, along the Westerville Community Center property, down to Heritage Park, and back to the finish/start line at the Sports Complex, adjacent to the new Veterans Memorial Plaza.

Packet Pickup

• Dates: July 2 and July 3
• Time: Noon-6 PM
• Location: Polaris Fleet Feet store, 1270 E. Powell Rd
• Note: There will be NO Race-Day Registration.
