Run For Hope

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Location: The Rock Coal Valley (302 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240)
• Date: June 28th, 2025
• Race Types: 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run
• Purpose: Honoring and celebrating everyone in our community impacted by cancer.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family and Pet Friendly

• Participants: Bring your whole family, neighborhood friends, or co-workers.
• Doggy Dash: Run with your pup and they will receive a commemorative doggie bandana (Additional $10).
• Inclusivity: A suitable event for all ages and community members.
• Celebration: A fun way to bond and support the cause.

📜 Honoring Loved Ones

• Custom Bibs: Show who you are running for with unique race bibs.
• Yard Signs: Honor a loved one affected by cancer with a yard sign along the race route.
• Post-Race: Signs can be picked up after the race to keep for your yard.
• Tribute: Recognizing those living with cancer, survivors, or those lost to cancer.

🏆 Awards Structure

• Overall Champions: Awards for overall 5K men’s & women’s champions.
• Survivor Champions: Specific awards for overall men’s and women’s survivor champions.
• Age Groups: Awards for age divisions every 5 years from 14 to 75 years old.
• Team Awards: Largest family and corporate team will also receive awards.

• Packet Pickup: June 26th & June 27th from 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
