Race Overview

• Memory: Join us as we race in memory of our own Nick Strub of Port Byron!
• History: Nick fought pediatric bone cancer, Ewing’s sarcoma, for over 5 years until he died in 2011 at the age of 29.
• Activities: We will have our signature 5k run/walk, and the always-a-blast Teddy Trot for the littles.
• Prizes: Prizes for the overall men’s and women’s runners will be awarded.

Age Groups

• Categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Post-Race Activities

• Event: After the races, wander and wonder at the awesomeness that is Tug Fest-IL.
• Drinks: Adult entries will include 2 FREE drink vouchers for the adults.

Charity Information

• Foundation: Proceeds from the event benefit research specific to Ewing’s sarcoma.
• Support: Funds are reserved to support QCA Ewing’s sarcoma survivors and their families as needed.
• Families: We currently support/follow 15 local families.
