Run for the Cure

Event Overview

• Location: Radnor High School, Wayne, PA
• Purpose: Help us to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
• Proceeds: All race proceeds go to breastcancer.org and the Dream Crazy for Greta foundation!

Event History

• Inception: This inaugural event was held in 2018 as part of a Radnor High School English class project.
• First Year Success: In our first year, we raised a little over $1,000 with 30 participants.
• Growth: This “little” project has flourished into a race that raised $24,000 in 2025.
• Goal: This year, we aim to raise $30,000.

• Breastcancer.org: An organization dedicated to providing balanced and responsible breast cancer information.
• Partnership: They have been our partner for years in managing the funds we raise.

About the Dream Crazy Foundation

• Honor: A nonprofit created to honor Margaretha “Greta” Ehret, a beloved field hockey coach.
• Legacy: Greta was a teacher and mother who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in June of 2025.
• Community: She remains one of Radnor's own and her spirit inspires our mission.
• Goal: The foundation works to continue her legacy through charitable efforts.
