🏞️ About the Course

Lapham Peak offers one of the most challenging courses in the Wisconsin Trail Assail Series. It’s not as tough as writing that check on April 15th—but it’s close! 😉 This hilly and technical course features:

• Rocky and sandy areas: A true test of trail running
• Dirt trails, tree roots, and washouts: Keep your eyes peeled
• Plenty of hills to conquer: Prepare for a workout

Despite the challenges, it’s a spectacular course that we’re sure you’ll love! And don’t worry—it’s still accessible for new trail runners and walkers.

The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout. We now offer it at all Wisconsin Trail Assail Events!
