Run Wild Quarter Marathon, 5K and Kids Fun Run plus Virtual option

Awesome Autumn run in beautiful Potawatomi State Park, Door County, WI Celebrating 36 years of Run Wild.

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Challenge: Take the challenge and run up tower hill in the featured quarter marathon race.
• Course: Both the 5K and quarter marathon are run on tree-lined park roads closed to traffic in scenic Potawatomi State Park.
• Park Entrance: Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until 11:00 a.m.
• Virtual Option: If you are unable to make it to the live event you can sign up for the virtual option and still receive the long sleeve Run Wild T-shirt. Virtual option times are not considered for awards.

🏅 Awards

• Categories: Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each 10-year age division.
• Pickup: Awards will not be mailed, must be picked up on the day of the race.
• Timing: There will be a gun start and chip timed finish.
• Packet Pickup: Packet pick-up is at Bay Shore Outfitters, 59 N. Madison Ave. in Sturgeon Bay on Friday, October 10th from 2-6 PM or day of starting at 7:30 a.m. at the event.

📅 Registration Information

• Fees: Pre-registration fees go up on 9-22-2024.
• Online Deadline: Online registration closes at midnight on 10-6-2024.
• In-Person Registration: You can still register in person at packet pick-up or the day of the run at the event.
• T-shirt Guarantee: Long sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrations received by September 21st.

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Start Time: Quarter Marathon and 5K both have a gun start promptly at 9:30 a.m. October 11th, 2025.
• Kids Run: A 1/3 mile Smokey Bear run will be held at approximately 10:30 for ages 2-10.
• Bib Visibility: Please wear your bib in front and keep visible for our timers and volunteers at intersections.
• Arrival Time: In order to make it to the starting line on time, please arrive at the park by 8:30 a.m.

• Road Closures: We have road closures at 9:15 a.m.
