14th Annual Samuel F Pearson Memorial Day Event

Purpose of the Event
- Mission: Event is raising money in honor of Sam Pearson for the Piqua Education Foundation (PEF) for scholarships in his name.
- Legacy: Sam was a soldier in the Army serving our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms.
- Community Impact: Money raised stays here in Piqua and supports PHS seniors with scholarship funds towards furthering their education.
- Growth: The number of scholarships has increased year over year as a result of the funds raised since this event started.
Race Details
- Start Time: 5k Run/Walk begins at 8:00am.
- Registration Fee: $25.00.
- Group Discount: $20 for groups with 5 or more participants.
- Shirt: Registration includes event shirt if received by 5/08/2026.
Beneficiary
Money raised goes to benefit the Samuel F Pearson Scholarship Fund.

- Online Registration: Available at RunSignup or at Can’t Stop Running Co.
- Packet Pick Up: Final race registration available at the race on Saturday morning.
Course Information
The 5k Course will start and finish on the bike path behind the former Piqua Power Plant, located at 123 Bridge St, Piqua, along the Miami River.
