Sunshine 5K or 1-Mile Run/Walk

Race Overview

Join us for the Sunshine 5K or 1-Mile Run/Walk on September 19, 2026, at 610 East Harmon Drive, Greenville, OH. This event supports several local non-profit organizations and features a scenic course through beautiful Greenville City Park.

Registration Information

• Payment Options: To avoid credit card processing fees, you can mail or deliver your registration form with cash/check.
• Mail-in Form: At the top of this page, click "2026 Mail-in Form." The form is a fillable .pdf, so you can type right into it!
• Submission: Print your completed form and mail/deliver it to the Darke County Foundation.
• Pricing: $20 through Sept. 9 (includes shirt): $15 for ages 0-14 through Sept. 9 (includes shirt): $5 for ages 0-14 (no shirt): price increases $5 on Sept. 10 (limited shirts available).

Included with Your Registration

• Quality T-Shirt: Register by Sept. 9 to guarantee a shirt.
• Door Prizes: Quality door prizes will be available.
• Refreshments: Enjoy homemade cookies and a variety of fruit and drinks.
• Swag Bag: Receive a swag bag with snacks and other goodies (while supplies last).

Awards

• Age-Group Awards: Awards will be given for 5K competitors in various age groups.
• Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
