Event Overview
Celebrate the end of summer with the San Antonio RoadRunners Labor Day Whine Run 5K/5-Miler, friends, Whining, and of course wine!
Virtual Participation
- Option: We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race or will be out of town for the live event.
- Packet Shipping: You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no-extra cost). Please note that we cannot ship the wine glass.
- Important: PACKETS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED. MUST ADD-ON SHIPPING AT REGISTRATION. YOU MAY ALSO PICK UP YOUR PACKET AT PACKET PICK UP WITHOUT AN EXTRA CHARGE.
- Strollers: Strollers will be allowed, but they must start at the back of the event.
In-Person Race Details
- Race Start Times:
- 5-MILER 7:00 AM
- 5K 7:05 AM
- Awards: Awards time approximately 8:30am
- Timing: 5K and 5-Miler will chip-timed.
- Post-Race Party: We will have a post-race party after the event at Tuscany Venue with live DJ, food, wine, and refreshments.
Please note that this event has NO Finisher medals. We have a finisher wine glass.
Virtual Race Details
- Flexibility: The SARR Virtual Labor Day Whine Run is a 5-Mile or 5K race that you can run or walk from any location and route.
- Execution: Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the run, and submit your results.
- Packet Pickup: Registrants who pick up their race packet in person will receive the wine glass. Glasses cannot be shipped.
- Social Media: Please take a picture at the end of your run with your race shirt. Upload these to your social media platforms and tag us or use the hashtag #sarrwhinerun.

Registration Information
Register Early. SARR members receive a 25% discount on the Whine Run with online registration thru 8/2/26 (automatically applied at checkout).
Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount on the run thru 8/2/26 (no other discounts apply: please show ID at packet pickup).
Runners aged 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the events with online registration thru 8/2/26 (no other discounts apply).
