SARR Labor Day Whine Run

Event Overview

Celebrate the end of summer with the San Antonio RoadRunners Labor Day Whine Run 5K/5-Miler, friends, Whining, and of course wine!

Registration Options

• Virtual Option: We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race or will be out of town for the live event.
• Packet Shipping: You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no extra cost). Please note that we cannot ship the wine glass.
• Important Note: Packets are not automatically shipped. Must add-on shipping at registration. You may also pick up your packet at packet pick up without an extra charge.
• Stroller Policy: Strollers will be allowed, but they must start at the back of the event.

In-Person Race Details

• Race Start Times:
• 5-MILER 7:00 AM
• 5K 7:05 AM
• Awards: Awards time approximately 8:30 AM

• 5K and 5-Miler will be chip-timed.
• At the live race only, every registered runner receives a wine glass. Runners over 21 get 2 free wine pours (while supplies last).
• We will have a post-race party after the event at Tuscany Venue with live DJ, food, wine, and refreshments.
• Please note that this event has NO finisher medals. We have a finisher wine glass.

Virtual Race Details

• The SARR Virtual Labor Day Whine Run is a 5-Mile or 5K race that you can run or walk from any location and route.
• Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the run, and submit your results.
• Registrants who pickup their race packet in person will receive the wine glass. Glasses cannot be shipped.
• Please take a picture at the end of your run with your race shirt. Upload these to your social media platforms and tag us or use the hashtag #sarrwhinerun.

• Highly Recommended: Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day.
• Pre-race Packet Pickup: Check back closer to race day.
• Race Day Pickup: Monday 9/7/26 6:00 AM-7:15 AM (for live race participants only)

Race Course and Results

• Race Course: Check back closer to race.
• Race Results: You can go to the results tab on this registration site to find results for 2012-2025. 2026 results be posted every few minutes after the race starts. Go HERE.

Discounts and Registration Info

• Register Early: SARR members receive a 25% discount on the Whine Run with online registration thru 8/2/26 (automatically applied at checkout).
• Active-Duty Military: Get a $5 discount on the run thru 8/2/26 (no other discounts apply: please show ID at packet pickup).
• Age Discounts: Runners aged 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the events with online registration thru 8/2/26 (no other discounts apply).

Check Registration Status

If you registered for a Race and would like to view your registration, begin by logging into your account, and go to your “Profile” page (upper right corner). On the “Profile” page, see Races under Upcoming Events. This shows a list of all Race(s) that are coming up. You are able to manage the registration for the Race by clicking "Manage Registration".
