🏃‍♂️ Race Description

We are proceeding with a live event again for 2024. We have retained a virtual run for those who would rather run their race their way or cannot travel to Augusta to participate in the live chip timed event by Brian Berkemeyer. Brian plans to have music at the start/finish line this year.

🏅 Awards and Ceremony

Award ceremony: Moved back to the YMCA and will be held once all participants have returned to the gym. All winners must be present to receive their award.
Finishers medal: All participants will receive a finishers medal.

👕 Event Tee Shirts

Tee shirt deadline: Event tee shirts will be ordered on September 15th. Any registrations after that date will not receive an event tee shirt.

💰 Fundraiser Information

Mission: Fundraiser supports Free ME from Lung Cancer's mission, including research, early detection access, radon abatement, and patient support.
Donations: Consider making an extra donation when you register or set up a fundraising page to support the cause.

🛍 Silent Auction and Children's Fun Run

Silent auction: Lots of great items to bid on. Come early for holiday shopping.
Children's fun run: Tee shirt included in registration cost, with an option for a discount if tee shirt is declined.

🎁 Discounts and Special Offers

$100+ Fundraisers: Eligible for free registration by raising $100 or more. Top three fundraisers receive a certificate for an hour massage.
Club Members: Central Maine Striders and Subattus Running Club members receive a $10 discount. Other running clubs can request a similar discount.
Tee Shirt Opt-Out: $10 coupon available for those who choose not to receive an event tee shirt before the deadline.
