The Shinzen Run started over 35 years ago under the direction of Ken Takeuchi and has supported the Shinzen Garden.
Proceeds will benefit the Shinzen Garden in memory of Ken Takeuchi.

Age Group Awards
- Age Groups: Ages 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.
- Awards: Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place M/F for the 2 Mile, 5k and 10 Mile.
- 1st Place Award: Receives a blue metal ribbon and a small bonsai plant kit.
- 2nd Place Award: Receives a red metal ribbon and an age group winner glass.
- 3rd Place Award: Receives a white metal ribbon.
