Race Location

• Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
• Time: Race starts at 11:00 AM
• Location: Campbell Creek Trail behind the Peanut Farm restaurant
• Additional Event: Snowshoe race at 11:15 AM

Costume Contest

• Theme: Zoo Critters
• Start Time: Begins at 10:15 AM
• Prizes: For best Male, Female, and Group costumes
• Provided By: The Peanut Farm

Beneficiary

• Proceeds: A portion of proceeds will benefit the Alaska Zoo
• Note: Dogs are not allowed at this event
• Strollers: Discouraged due to snow, but if used, start at the back

Race Partner

• Partner: Anchorage Running Club and Alaska Zoo
• Donation: A portion of race fee proceeds and all online donations will benefit the Alaska Zoo
• Admission: Daytime admission to the Alaska Zoo for runners with tear-off from their bib
• Exclusion: Offer not valid during Zoo Lights

Course Information

• Start/Finish: On the trail accessible via Peanut Farm overflow parking lot
• Distance: 4K out and back along Campbell Creek Trail
• Terrain: Flat course with minimal hills
• Direction: South for 2K, then turn around

Bib Pickup

• Details: To be determined closer to race day
• Morning Pickup: Available from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
• Finisher Medal: All participants receive one on race day
• Awards: Top 3 men and women finishers receive prizes
