Staff Sergeant Christopher Slutman was not only a loving husband, father, son and brother but he was also a FDNY Firefighter.
🪖 Tragic Heroism
Sadly, while serving in the Marines, he was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.
👟 Avid Runner
Chris was an avid runner with his wife Shannon. Join us in honoring this American HERO by running or walking in his honor.
🎗️ Charitable Contributions
- Support for Families: All funds from the event will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which supports the families of fallen or catastrophically injured military and first responders.
- Memorial Foundation: Contributions will also assist the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation which is building a memorial to honor our heroes on the National Mall.
