Staff Sergeant Christopher Slutman was not only a loving husband, father, son and brother but he was also a FDNY Firefighter.
Tragic Loss
Sadly, while serving in the Marines, he was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

Chris was an avid runner with his wife Shannon. Join us in honoring this American HERO by running or walking in his honor.
Beneficiary Organizations
- Tunnel to Towers Foundation: All funds from the event will be donated to this foundation which supports the families of fallen or catastrophically injured military and first responders.
- Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation: This foundation is building a memorial to honor our heroes on the National Mall.
