❤️ In Memory Of

This race is also being run in the memory of three great friends: Ran Kiper, Jim Wilhite, & Robin Fell. They had a passion for the great outdoors and were committed to living life to its fullest. The 1996 Firecracker 5K was Ran Kiper’s last foot race, after which he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away that September. Men's mug #101 is in memory of Ran Kiper.

👶 Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run

• Cost: $15.00 until July 3
• Race Day: $20.00
• Entry Includes: Finishers medal and Official Race t-shirt (limited to the first 200 participants).

📍 Course Description

5K (3.1 miles) will start and finish at Mall St. Vincent Parking Lot (directly behind Sears). The race will proceed through the historic South Highland Subdivision, one of Shreveport’s oldest & most beautiful neighborhoods.

📅 Packet Pickup

• June 26th & 27th: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• June 28th: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• June 29th: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• June 30th - July 3rd: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Race Day: 6:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m.

You can choose between a short sleeve tee t-shirt or a tank top (adult sizes only available for tank tops).

🚦 Race Day Registration & Check-In

Mall St. Vincent parking lot behind Sears, 6:00 a.m. —7:50 a.m. Race day check-in. Registration on race day is $40.00.

👶🏻 Baby Joggers

Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand-pushed vehicle will be allowed at a walking pace only. NO in-line skates or roller skates are allowed on the run course as per RRCA regulations.

💵 Refund & Race Entry Transfer Policy

Refunds: 100% refund if canceled more than 30 days in advance: 50% refund between 30 days and two weeks prior to race day. No refunds less than two weeks before race day.

Transfers: Allowed up to two weeks prior to race day with a $10 transfer fee.
