Storm The Park 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Come STORM THE PARK at Adventureland and complete a 5k fun run this summer!

• Highlights: You will get to fly by the Viking, get scared by the Monster, conquer the Tornado and get shot into space!
• Family Fun: Grab the family and enjoy a run or walk through the park before it opens!
• Extras: Your entry into the 5k also includes an Adventureland pass good any time during the season and a parking pass good for the day of the race.

🎖️ Event Details

Join Altoona Running Club as we host a unique event at Adventureland Resort for the second year! Come Storm The Park before it is open on June 28th. Your registration will include a finisher medal, featuring a tornado.

• Merchandise: Included with registration will be a short sleeve shirt celebrating the race (if signed up by June 14th), a full-size beach towel to use at the water park, a free parking pass, and a single park entry for the day.
• Value: This is well over a $100 value for a registration fee of only $50.
• Feedback: We had great feedback about last year's race and will make this year's even better!

📅 Schedule

Saturday June 28th, 2025 at 8 AM we will take off from and finish at the carousel.

• Location: We will be starting and finishing in the park this year.
• After Party: We will have our after party in the pavilion.

💖 Charity Contributions

Altoona Running Club will be making a donation of a portion of the proceeds from this run to Shriners Children's and the Za-Ga-Zig Shriners in Altoona.

• Community Support: We have donated nearly $10,000 as a club to local charities in the community and state.
