Come STORM THE PARK at Adventureland and complete a 5k fun run this summer!

🎢Course Experience

• Attractions: You will get to fly by the Viking, get scared by the Monster, conquer the Tornado and get shot into space!
• Family Fun: Grab the family and enjoy a run or walk through the park before it opens!
• Entry Benefits: Your entry into the 5k also includes an Adventureland pass good any time during the season and a parking pass good for the day of the race.

🎖️Registration Details

Join Altoona Running Club as we host a unique event at Adventureland Resort for the second year! Come Storm The Park before it is open on June 28th.

• Completion Rewards: Your registration will include a finisher medal, featuring a tornado.
• Additional Items: Also included with registration will be a short sleeve shirt celebrating the race (if signed up by June 14th), a full size beach towel to use at the water park, a free parking pass and a single park entry for the day.
• Value: This is well over a $100 value for a registration fee of only $50.
• Past Success: We had great feedback about last year's race and will make this year's even better!

📅Race Day Information

Saturday June 28th, 2025 at 8AM we will take off from and finish at the carousel. We will be starting and finishing in the park this year and have our after party in the pavilion.

❤️Charity Support

Altoona Running Club will be making a donation of a portion of the proceeds from this run to Shriners Children':s and the Za-Ga-Zig Shriners in Altoona. We have donated nearly $10,000 as a club to local charities in the community and state.

• Date & Time: FRIDAY, JUNE 27th, 4-6 PM - NOTE DAY CHANGE FOR PICK-UP
• Location: Fitness Sports - Clive, 8810 Swanson Blvd, Clive, IA 50325
• Race Day Pick-Up: Saturday, June 28th, 6:30-7:45 AM at Adventureland Front Gate, 3200 Adventureland Drive, Altoona, IA 50009 - Note the new location this year so that you are close to the race start.
