Superhero 5k and Kids' Runs Benefiting the ChildSafe Center - CAC

Event Overview

CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!!!

All children need a hero, but abused children need a superhero.

The Superhero 5K and Kid's Run will benefit the ChildSafe Center - CAC. There's something for the whole family. Don't forget to wear your superhero costume!

Race Details

• 5K Race/Walk: Men's and Women's 5K race and/or walk (No age restriction)
• Kid's 1 Mile Race: Children ages 6-12
• Flash Dash: 100 Yard "Flash Dash" for Children ages 5 and under

The race begins and ends at Greenwood Mill Elementary School with rolling hills in between. This is an open course through a residential area. All registrations close at 8:45. Check In for 5K no later than 8:45 am, Check In for 1 Mile no later than 9:45 am and Check In for Flash Dash no later than 10:15 am. The 5K will begin at 9:00 with the Kid's Mile and 100 Yard Dash immediately following.

Registration Information

• Advance Registration: Registration in advance is preferred
• Same Day Registration: Available (Cash or check) with opening time at 7:45 am and closing at 8:45 am
• Cost: 5K Registration $30 online, $35 in person: 1 Mile and Flash Dash $10 online, $15 in person
• Discount: $3 discount for members of Shenandoah Valley Runners

Awards

Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers. Awards will also be given to the top male and female finishers in the Kid's Mile. All Mile finishers will receive a ribbon of completion. All 100 Yard Dash finishers will receive a ribbon of completion. Please stay until all races are finished for the awards presentations!

Additional Information

Please note, due to insurance requirements, strollers, dogs and headphones are discouraged in the race. This is a rain or shine event, no refunds will be made.
